Spicy Jicama Fries

Happy Halloween! I spent the morning coming up with a game plan for tonight - With all that candy around the last thing I want to to be hungry. So I decided I'm going to whip up a batch of these delicious Spicy Jicama fries to munch on instead!

Spicy Jicama Fries


1 medium jicama, peeled and cut into strips

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp chipotle powder

1/4 tsp onion powder

1 tbsp olive oil

Chipotle Aioli:

1/4-1/2 cup Amazing Mayo from Walden Farms

3 tsp chipotle powder

2 tbsp fresh cilantro

1 clove of garlic, minced

2 tbsp fresh lime juicesalt & pepper to taste


1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees

2. Combine Spices in a small bowl

3. In a large mixing bowl, drizzles Jicama strips with olive oil and toss, adding spices as you go until all the strips are well coated in oil and spice mixture

4. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray and spread Jicama strips evenly

5. Bake for 40 minutes

6. For the Chipotle Aioli, combine all ingredients together and mix well

This is one of my favorite snacking foods for when those temptations just get to be too much!
